I’m Claire. I have always loved being artistic and working with flowers provides that creative outlet. I love the process of meeting couples, discussing their likes and dislikes, inspiring them with different options and talking through the step by step process to creating and selecting the right blooms for their wedding.
About
Based in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside Blyth Flowers is run from a flower room on the family farm. When renovating the farm house there was an opportunity to rebuild the lean to which housed the old oil tank. With its pretty beams and filled with lots of natural light I love to get creative designing and arranging your blooms.
Whilst the majority of my weddings have been in Wiltshire, I have been fortunate to work at venues in Hampshire, Somerset, Devon, Surrey and even as far away as South Africa! These range from historic manor houses to rustic barns, churches, marques, yurts or private homes.
Your quality blooms come direct from Dutch flower auctions and using our foliage from the farm, each wedding is unique.
Where It Started
It was a wet June day in 2005 where I was introduced to the world of flowers through my Mother-In-Law, the day before my wedding. I was asked to help create some of our table arrangements where my skills were quickly noticed and was told, ‘you have a future in flowers’. To my husband’s disgust who vowed he would never marry someone interested in flowers, it was too late!
In time I swapped my desk job for the world of floristry and went back to the classroom to study in 2007 and never looked back. With 2 daughters, a patient husband, a helpful Mother-In-Law and reliable flower friends we love to create bespoke flowers for your wedding or event.
